Best Chiller General Transport is a chiller transport company based in Musaffah M11, Abu Dhabi, specializing in the movement of chilled and frozen goods. Our role extends beyond simple transit to maintaining product condition throughout each stage of movement.
Today our operations run daily from Musaffah across Abu Dhabi’s commercial and industrial zones, with scheduled routes extending into the wider UAE. What we do is narrower than general haulage and harder to get right — every consignment we carry has a temperature it must hold, a window it must arrive in, and a record that has to stand up afterwards. Vehicles are assigned to the cargo rather than to whatever happens to be free in the yard.
We focus on keeping every shipment within its required thermal range through controlled loading, monitored transit, and careful offloading, maintaining consistency from dispatch to final delivery point.
In 2016, Best Chiller General Transport was founded in Abu Dhabi after we observed how extreme heat and inconsistent handling were disrupting temperature-sensitive deliveries. Products were often exposed during loading, delayed between stops, or transported without stable cooling, leading to avoidable losses for businesses relying on controlled conditions.
Recognizing this gap, we set out to build a transport operation focused on maintaining temperature stability throughout the delivery cycle. Early on, we handled small-scale food and beverage consignments, where timing, route planning, and minimal door exposure were critical to preserving product condition in high ambient temperatures.
To support this, we initially invested in chiller and freezer vans, using Toyota, Mercedes, and Mitsubishi vehicles equipped with dedicated cooling systems to handle early-stage delivery requirements. As demand increased, our operations expanded beyond Abu Dhabi to surrounding regions, supporting businesses that required more consistent and controlled delivery execution.
When we started, our operations were limited to a small fleet of 7 vans with 1to 1.8 tons capacity, primarily handling short-distance chiller transport within Abu Dhabi. At this stage, our focus was on building consistency in local temperature-controlled deliveries under real operating conditions.
As demand increased due to consistent delivery performance, we expanded our van fleet to handle higher daily volumes.
Over time we scaled the van operation to cover different temperature requirements, adding units as clients moved from occasional bookings to standing daily routes. That shift changed how the business ran. A single delivery is a job; a standing route is a commitment, and it meant building dispatch capacity that could hold a schedule rather than respond to one. Most of the growth between 2018 and 2024 came from clients who started with one vehicle and ended up with a fixed weekly allocation.
As volumes grew, vans began reaching their operational limits on bulk and long-distance consignments — the point where splitting a load across three vehicles costs more than moving it in one. That is when we introduced temperature-controlled trucks, which brought a different set of problems with it: gate access to the industrial zones, palletised handling at sites with no loading dock, and clearance windows at the port that decide the dispatch time rather than the other way round. Solving those is what the truck side of the operation has been built around.
With this shift in fleet structure, our operations naturally extended beyond Abu Dhabi as delivery demand increased from Dubai, Sharjah, and surrounding regions. This resulted in coordinated transport activity across key commercial zones in the UAE, with scheduled inter-emirate routes running from the Musaffah base.
Our operations are managed by our owner, Javeed. As Founder & Managing Director, he has worked in the UAE’s temperature-controlled transport sector since 2016, building Best Chiller General Transport from a 7 van operation into a fleet of 135+ vans and 50+ trucks Rather than taking a purely administrative role, Javeed maintains direct oversight of the cold chain’s daily integrity. He works closely with our vehicle managers to monitor fleet performance and serves as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring that any high-sensitivity cargo issues are resolved at the leadership level.
By staying in constant communication with both the dispatch team and our clients, Javeed ensures that technical standards—from pre-cooling cycles to real-time temperature tracking—are strictly followed. This hands-on involvement provides a direct layer of accountability, ensuring that every delivery across the Emirates meets our requirements for thermal stability and timing.
Best Chiller General Transport is HACCP-certified for food safety management in transport and ADAFSA-approved for food transport within Abu Dhabi. Our fleet is ASATEEL-registered with the Abu Dhabi Integrated Transport Centre, which is required for commercial vehicle access to KIZAD, ICAD, and the Musaffah industrial zones. Every driver holds EFST certification, which ADAFSA requires for commercial food transport in Abu Dhabi. Pharmaceutical consignments are handled in line with GDP principles.

Abu Dhabi is where the operation is based and where the majority of daily movement happens — Musaffah and ICAD for cold storage and food processing, KIZAD and Khalifa Port for imported stock entering the emirate, and the city’s retail, hospitality, and healthcare network for onward distribution.
Beyond the emirate, we run scheduled inter-emirate routes rather than ad-hoc long-distance work. Scheduled means a fixed slot, a known driver, and a route planned around the receiving site’s window — which is a different operation from taking a one-off booking and hoping the timing holds.
What we have built is narrow by design. We do not carry general freight, we do not run construction haulage, and we do not treat cold chain as an add-on to a broader transport business. Temperature-controlled movement is the whole operation, and a decade of running it in Abu Dhabi’s climate is what the fleet, the dispatch process, and the documentation are shaped around.
